Why is it that only women belong in the rasoda?
The viral song recreated from a still of the popular Indian TV program, "Saath Nibhana Saathiya" named “rasode me kaun tha ?” went viral on social media few months ago. This catchy number fashioned out a scene that has Kokilaben and her two daughters-in-law, Gopi Bahu and Rashi Bahu involved in an ardent discussion over an empty cooker(without chaanas) on a gas stove, that has led to an outburst in the house. With the #rasodemekauntha going trendy on electronic media for days, people started giving their hilarious creative twist to the nationwide sensational video. This “main thi? Tum thi? Kaun tha?” amusing song drew my attention towards the obsolete storyline of every other Indian TV dramas, that more often than not shows the dominance of a strict mother-in-law over her daughter-in-law and depicts the kitchen to be the women's territory. Whether it was Rashi Bahu, Gopi Bahu, or KokilaBen who was in the kitchen that day, why is it that only women belong in the rasoda...
ReplyDeleteI'm American Lady & we do have here too many women who do not have access to femine hygiene products
I Lived in Egypt north of Africa for 3 years because my hubby was working in a petroleum project for his company there . Especially poor Most Women & Girls there never use artificial pads or tampons or cups at all instead they are using a washable soft cloth towel 100% pure cotton (( specially manufactured there for that purpose )) from 7x7 inches up to 12x12 inches with different thicknesses & styles as well depend on your age /your flow / size & comfort . They just fold it 3 times then put it in their panties and adjust it .Some of them told me they have money to buy those period hygiene products but they prefer that old school granny method . Actually It is a good idea , save money / save environment / more healthy, absorbs more than artificial ones / more tender or soft to the vulva skin . I have tried it many times & it works good I even bought 3 sets of them & sometimes I use them here in USA especially @ home
Cons or problems
1 - Unless it does not matter for u or u do not care , if U wear leggings or tight jeans U need to wear a long t shirt or sweater to cover because that will make the crotch area looks big or large or not normal or simply U need to wear a skirt or baggy pants during that time .
2- In the beginning of use U will feel uncomfortable as if u have a heavy thing down there but by the time it gets normal
3- if the towel is thick and big U will not be able to close your legs firmly or completely while sitting down it has to be a little bit apart or opened
4- u can not wear small thongs or g strings it has to be fully covered panties
I would suggest Poor girls & women especially homeless can use that - they can also use it one time
